Hysteroscopy

During hysteroscopy, a thin optical instrument — the hysteroscope — is gently inserted through the cervix into the uterus. It provides detailed images of the uterine lining and cavity structure, allowing detection of conditions such as endometrial polyps, submucosal fibroids, intrauterine adhesions (Asherman’s syndrome), or uterine septa.
